Google Docs is an online document editor for creating, editing, and collaborating on documents. Users can work together with comments, controlled sharing permissions, and revision history; the service can also open Microsoft Word and PDF files. A Google Account is required to create documents, while some organization-focused features are part of Google Workspace plans.
