The official website of the RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (AIP) presents the institute's AI research, laboratories, researchers, news, events, publications, and career opportunities. Launched in 2016 as a hub for AI researchers, AIP now organizes its work into three strategic groups: Mathematical Intelligence, which studies the foundations of machine learning and ways to improve AI reliability, interpretability, and safety; Domain Intelligence, which develops AI incorporating knowledge from scientific and applied fields; and Physical Intelligence, which connects cognition and action to study embodied intelligence.
