5channel (5ちゃんねる) is a Japanese, board-based internet forum organized around discussion boards and threaded posts. The supplied 5ch.net address redirected in Chrome to the active 5ch.io front page, which displays threads from multiple boards such as breaking news and lets visitors open discussions and see reply counts. Its official FAQ says an account is optional; members can follow boards and users to personalize their front page.
