The Yamaguchi Shimbun Digital Edition is a general news service focused on Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. It presents local top stories and links to coverage of prefectural politics and administration, companies and personnel changes, society, crime and accidents, sports, culture, and daily life. Its sports coverage includes high-school baseball and Renofa Yamaguchi; the site also features local topics, essays and editorials, and a section for national and international news. The Yamaguchi Shimbun Newsletter is described as a brief morning list of headlines about the local economy and community, with a free-registration option shown on the page. Other visible services include weather, article search, personalized My News management, a newspaper-page viewer, print orders for published photographs, and back-issue orders. Subscription information distinguishes the print newspaper from the digital edition. The site also links to Kanmon-area lifestyle information and local event resources. Subscription and login options are visible, but the homepage alone does not establish a uniform access condition for every article. The digital edition is the newspaper’s online source for Yamaguchi reporting, public affairs, business, sports, culture, everyday information, and wider news.
