Data we process
Public searches are counted using a one-way hash of the normalized query; the raw query is not stored in search metrics. Site submissions and reports may include an email address, encrypted at rest. Operational logs contain request identifiers, coarse timestamps, user agent data, and short-lived IP information needed for abuse prevention.
Why and how long
We use this data to operate search, review submissions, investigate safety reports, prevent abuse, and maintain auditability. Public aggregate metrics are retained without direct identifiers. Contact information is removed when the review or dispute process and applicable limitation periods end. Security logs are normally retained for 90 days.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or objection through the report form using the Privacy type. We verify requests before disclosing or deleting account-related information.
Processors and transfers
Infrastructure and model providers receive only the data necessary for their contracted function. High-risk information is minimized and provider use is recorded. We apply contractual and technical safeguards where information crosses borders.
Recent searches on this device
Recent search terms are stored only in this browser for up to 90 days, with no more than 10 terms per language. You can remove individual terms or clear them all from the search box. The query you type is sent to LinkSpot for autocomplete and search; its raw text is not retained in search metrics or autocomplete access logs.
Member accounts and email
We encrypt verified email addresses at rest and use a keyed lookup value for sign-in and duplicate prevention. Authentication challenges expire after 10 minutes. Account sessions last up to 30 days.
Visit history
External-site clicks may be stored in your account for up to 365 days, with no more than 100 unique sites. Guest history stays in this browser unless you choose to merge it after signing in. You can delete individual visits or all history.
Site follows and account activity
We store the sites you follow and the last day you used LinkSpot with an authenticated session. Public follower charts contain aggregate counts only and never identify followers. Individual follow events are retained for 90 days. If there is no authenticated activity for one year, all follows are removed after advance service emails.
Advertising and consent
Direct ads use only slot, language, server-side country, and current category. They do not use member IDs, email, search terms, or visit history. Impressions and clicks are retained as anonymous daily campaign totals. When AdSense is active, Google Privacy & Messaging handles consent and TCF signals; no AdSense unit is requested when consent is missing or unresolved. Application details and a short transfer reference are retained for quoting, operations, and audit.
