The Shikoku Shimbun’s website is a news and information service focused on Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. Its homepage brings together breaking updates, national news, selections from the day’s newspaper, and sections for sports, society, business, politics, international affairs, daily life, culture and entertainment, and science and the environment. It also features high-school baseball, regional sports, recurring series and special reports, information for students preparing for exams in Kagawa, and COOL KAGAWA, a linked tourism resource for the prefecture. Local information includes Kagawa weather, Takamatsu forecasts, the water level of Sameura Dam, and rain-cloud updates. The site links to the Shikoku Shimbun WEB morning edition, a newspaper-page viewer, electronic delivery, an article database, national-news RSS feeds, photo-print orders, and newspaper subscriptions. Other menus cover jobs, career preparation, Sanuki udon, bonsai, and entertainment. Subscription information is visible, but the homepage alone does not establish the access conditions for every individual article. The digital news site combines Kagawa-focused reporting with Japanese and international news, sports, culture, weather, and practical local information.
