The official Kyodo News website combines a public-facing news page with corporate and service information about the Japanese news agency. Its latest-news section separates general and sports updates, and readers can open stories to view the text. The site also features long-running domestic and international series, photo and visual journalism, links to Kyodo-supplied reports, and 47NEWS, a joint news site involving Kyodo and newspapers across Japan. The company profile describes Kyodo as a general incorporated association that gathers and edits news from Japan and abroad and distributes articles, photographs, video, and graphics to newspapers, NHK, commercial broadcasters, overseas media, websites, and other outlets. It publishes in Japanese and in languages including English and Chinese. Separate service pages address companies, government ministries, municipalities, and media organizations; the site also lists events, announcements, careers, service inquiries, and permissions for using articles and photographs. It therefore serves both readers seeking current reports and organizations looking for news content or distribution services.
