API-provided profile · Submitted by a trusted data editor
Toyama Shimbun Digital is the online news service of Toyama Shimbun, covering Toyama Prefecture, Japan. Its official Toyama news list presents local stories, society, and sports, with links to series and features, editorials and columns, obituaries, sports updates, and market updates. The homepage links to 24-hour and weekly rankings, weather for eastern and western Toyama, a digital newspaper-page viewer, and information about applying for the digital edition. Registration and login sit alongside links for print-newspaper subscriptions, the newspaper's news-app announcement, a database service for searching and viewing published articles, print and photo orders, and reader submissions. A visible notice says regular print subscribers can register for Toyama Shimbun Digital for free; no other price or universal article-access rule is established by that notice. Public-safety modules display warnings, evacuation information, earthquake bulletins, river-flood alerts, tsunami information, and civil protection. The site is a regional source for Toyama news, sports, and community topics, and for finding the paper's digital pages and related services.
