環境省の「環境ジオポータル」は、環境に関する地理空間データを探して取得するためのオープンデータカタログです。検索したデータを地図上でプレビューできるほか、さまざまな地理空間データ形式のファイルをダウンロードしたり、Webサービス/APIを通じて利用したりできます。トップページでは「水・大気・土壌環境」「自然環境・生物多様性」などの分野から探せます。掲載データには、サンゴ浅海生態系の現況把握調査、ニホンジカの全国分布メッシュ、植生調査などの地図データや関連資料があります。新規データや更新情報もトップページで告知され、データセットによって配布URLが変更された場合の案内も掲載されます。利用者はキーワードや分野から環境データを見つけ、地図で内容を確かめ、必要な形式で取得するかAPIとして利用できます。環境調査、地域計画、自然環境の把握などに使う地理情報をまとめて探せる、環境省運営の専門カタログです。

The Ministry of the Environment Geoportal is an open-data catalog for finding and obtaining geospatial information about Japan’s environment. Visitors can search datasets, preview them on a map, download files in a range of geospatial formats, or use the data through web services and APIs.
