DBCLS — Database Center for Life Science

DBCLS (Database Center for Life Science) is a research center within Japan’s Research Organization of Information and Systems (ROIS), established to form a hub for integrating life-science databases. It develops infrastructure technologies and applications that support database integration and improve usability, and works on data integration assistance and standardization with research institutions in Japan and abroad. The official site highlights TogoDX/human, a web application for integrated exploration, overview, and extraction of human-related data; TogoID, a tool for exploring links among identifiers used in life-science databases and converting IDs; and TogoTV, a portal for video learning materials on bioinformatics tools and databases.
