CrowdWorks is a Japanese crowdsourcing and freelance-work platform. Clients post projects online, choose from applicants or invite a worker directly, and review the deliverable when the job is complete. Its official homepage lists more than 250 kinds of work, including design, software and website development, writing, translation, office support, and data entry, with tools to publish jobs and search for workers. Membership and job posting are advertised as free. The FAQ says clients generally pay no usage or posting fee, while workers pay a system fee based on the contract amount. The site also describes payment options, worker ratings and identity checks, and monitoring intended to deter suspicious projects and attempts to move transactions off-platform.
