Doorkeeper is an event and community management platform used to organize seminars, meetups, and other gatherings. Organizers can create community and event pages, set ticket types and capacities, customize registration forms, manage waitlists, sell prepaid tickets, check in attendees with QR-code tickets, and send messages to community members. Events can be in person or online, and communities can build ongoing participation through mailing lists and recurring membership plans. Participants can apply using only an email address without creating a Doorkeeper account. The first event can be hosted free; organizers need a paid plan for later events, and prepaid tickets incur transaction fees.
