Kakuyomu is a Japanese web-fiction platform where anyone can read stories and, with a free account, write and publish their own. Readers can discover works through genre browsing, keyword and tag search, rankings, editorial picks, reviews, contests, and lists of stories adapted for print or other media. Registered users can write, enter contests, follow authors and works, review, and support writers. The official guide describes free reading across genres and optional paid services, including Kakuyomu Next and Supporters Passport. It also explains a creator-reward program based on work views and supporter contributions. The site is operated in the KADOKAWA Group.
